This area is also a haven for mountain bikers - cruise along the 4-mile bike lane from McLain Flats to downtown Aspen and stop to enjoy the scenery along the Roaring Fork River. Named a “Gold Medal Waters” for fishing, the river flows over 70 miles through canyons and features crystal-clear waters providing the perfect spot to spend a tranquil day fishing or if you’re up for a challenge, the ultimate afternoon white-water rafting.
